bead eyes or safety eyes

Abbreviations
R= round
sc= single crochet
sts= stitches
rep= repeat
dec=decrease
ch=chain
dc=double crochet
hdc=half double crochet

BodyR1 6 sc in a magic ring (6 sts)
R2 2 sc in each sc around (12 sts)
R3 *1 sc, 2sc in next sc* rep 6 times (18 sts)
R4 *2 sc, 2 sc in next sc* rep 6 times (24 sts)
R5-8 sc around (24 sts) if you use bead eyes, place them in round 7, leaving 4 st between them
R9 *2 sc, dec 1* rep 6 times (18 sts)
R10 *1 sc, dec 1* rep 6 times (12 sts)
FillR11 *skip 1 sc, 1 sc* rep 6 times (6 sts)
Fasten off

Fins (make 2)
ch4, slip stitch in the first chain made
Fasten off

Dorsal fin
ch4, 2dc in the third chain from the hook, slip stitch
Fasten off

Tail
ch6, 3dc in the second chain from the hook, hdc, slip stitch, hdc, 3dc and slip stitch
Fasten off
If you want a more shaped tail, after sew it to the body, sew the middle of the tail to the body

Origami Guppy tutorial

Ecco un altro tutorial sull'origami! Questa volta ho realizzato un pesce ornamentale d'acqua dolce chiamato Guppy. E' un pesce piccolo con una coda molto vistosa. Il modello non è mio, l'ho trovato su un buon libro sull'origami che potete consultare qui. L'unica pecca: è scritto in giapponese. Spero vi piaccia e se avete dubbi scrivetemi!


 

Pesciolino

Ecco una rivisitazione del pesce che avevo realizzato tempo fa. Questo pesciolino è più piccolo, circa 6cm di lunghezza, e nelle tonalità del mare. Spero piaccia :)

Amigurumi Fish

Questo progetto mi ha tenuto occupata per un bel po' di tempo, ma è venuto proprio bello! Nessun dettaglio è lasciato al caso! E per un'amante come me dei pesci, un bel pesce rosso non poteva mancare! Spero vi piaccia :)

Carpa Koi

Questa carpa viene realizzata in stoffa o carta e viene fatta svolazzare in Giappone per la festa dei bambini! Il bello sta nel costruirsi la propria carpa, unica e speciale! La mia è in miniatura, attaccata ad uno stuzzicadenti, ma spero renda bene l'idea! ^^
[This carp is made with cloth or paper and it's made to fly in Japan for the children's festival! It's amazing making your own carp, unic and special! My carp is small, attached to a toothpick, but I hope it make the idea ^^]

TUTORIAL
1) Partiamo da un foglio quadrato

2)Pieghiamo fino alla diagonale del foglio

3) Pieghiamo a metà (nella foto a destra è mostrato il dietro)

4) Pieghiamo fino a metà..

..e riapriamo

5) Seguite bene le immagini sotto (passaggio difficile da spiegare ma ben illustrato)

 ripetere anche sotto, ed ecco il risultato finale

6) Portare quel lembo dalla parte opposta (come voltare una pagina)

 7) Portare la punta poco oltre la metà

8) Piegare a metà

9) Girare

10) Piegare la pinna lungo la linea e la coda con inclinazione a scelta

11) Rilasciare la coda e farla rientare (vedi sotto)

Carpa koi finita, mancano solo le decorazioni :)
